The MCP Foundation Inc. shall have its principal place of business in the city of Springfield, Ohio and may have such other places of business as the Board of Directors may determine from time to time.
The purpose of the MCP Foundation Inc. as set forth in its Articles of Incorporation are as follows:
To improve the lives of disadvantaged individuals by providing shelter, food, and clothing;. To provide financial assistance for disadvantaged students pursing a college education;. and to provide biblical, religious, scientific and educational materials to the general public for growth and enlightenment.
The MCP Foundation Inc. shall be operated exclusively for charitable, religious, scientific, literary, or educational purposes within the meaning of Section 501 (c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986, as amended, or comparable provisions of subsequent legislation (the “code”), as an Ohio nonprofit Directors corporation.
The MCP Foundation Inc. was approved and certified by the Ohio Secretary of State.
The MCP Foundation Inc. of Ohio was approved by the Federal Government as a Private Foundation. It is an exempt organization under IRC Section 501(c)(3) within the meaning of Section 509(a).
